02Feb2008 -- I set this date for my TKD 'Sau Gong' BBQ party alltough still have class the next day. Most of my senior and my assistant instructor join the crowd. It is raining whole night, so we have to move the BBQ stove inside our car porch. All those boys just sit still and didnt' budge while some of my girls get dirty to start up the fire. Those boys really need to get some KICK from me. I was busy with preparing salad but still have to start the fire.

9.30 pm-- Finally everything is ready. To my surprise my salad were so 'LAKU' and need to make another bowl. HaHa.. This time the BBQ is a little different. I bought a steel pan so that they can grill some hotdogs, pork etc etc. And guess what, Chooi Shan also bring her mother along to join the fun. When everyone were stuffed and full, my bro suggest to have some game.

11.00 pm ++ Game Time. So what the game name? It is called 'UNLUCKY LUCKY DRAW'. Sounds funny rite? Yah.. So we have some specialty for this game.

• A barrel of 'All Mixed Drinks' ingredient = Sunquick, Sarsi, Liquour, Soy Bean, anything that can be drink all mixed in.


• Hotdogs stuffed with 'Cili Padi' => Yeah !!


• Balloons

I guess the best part of the games is when one's draw number 8 [Mini Game]. All players need to put 2 hands on floor and watches me to blow off a balloon. Those of lift his hand away when the baloon explode will need to take a full cup of the MIXTURE. Walau... Really a emotional torture when to open the eyes wide and predicting when the ballon blown off.

12.00 am -- All my student went up to my room. I wanna show them all the photos I've taken to them. So were still kids when joining my class. Now they are grown up. Time really flies. This 'SauGong' is an anual event for me for the last 10 years ++. What is missing this year is I don't make 'Kuih Kapit' with my students this year. Usually they will come to make 'Kuih Kapit' at my home when there is 'SauGong' celebration.

Such a good celebration. I almost forget to give my asst 'angpow'.

19 Jan 2008 - I got one missed call from my student. It was late at night so i didn't return call. He called me again the next day. He have problems he said and need some money. Ok. We shall talk about it later tonight.
He said that his father owned money from a few Ah Long (Loan Shark)and was in dire state and need to become fugitive. Wow. It was quite some of money, All I can offer is little. I really felt the pain he endured because this is what happened to me before. Beside some money support, I do give him morale and advise to what should do. Help him to calculated all the cash flow and it really take a lot of effort to have things turn back around. He should take another part-time job too. His paycheck alone, is just a tiny part. He bare the responsibility not toward his father side but is to her mother and his siblings.
I've said to him he should have enough money to cushion him, his mum and siblings should there be another downfall. As this stuff happened before, the trend is it will happened again I said.
Some of his TKD member also lend him some money, even tough they know each other for bout 2 years ++. I explained to him to valued and cherish this, as this is what we called true friends that he found in TKD. Even his buddies were hesitate to get involved.
I do ask him to differentiate true friends and bad friends. I ask him who are there who visited you when you landed in hospital after a car accident. TKD friends he said. Wow... it really a long story I've said and explained to him....... Just too many to be said it all here.

Narrow Escape -- Lucky :)

18 Jan 2008 3.00 pm -- Master Dang gave me a call today to collect the uniforms I've ordered. Glad that the parcel came in time for this coming grading test. I drove to Ipoh town and meet up Master Dang @ Mr Yong's office. OK.. All goods we loaded in my bonnet, Ciao !! Back home now. Almost forget that I need to pay some of my bills.

On my way back, I pass by Old Town to 'DaPou' coffee ( Always got nagged by my EX for that ) and she'll nagged me for parking at yellow line. Since the take away take a few mnutes, I just park at yellow line. When I came out, I saw the Municipal Office few feets away from my car. Gosh, sure KENA SAMAN again.. Yellow Line Parking summone = RM 40.00. But he seem going straight to a Mercedes E320 and issue the summone. LUCKY ...! maybe it is because of my Proton HERO ( Wira ) . Must summone the rich guy 1st, I'm a poor guy lah...Hahahaha....
Bang!!! Door shut.. Engine started and off I go.. Luckly escape..!! Yeah !!

My Friday Class

I always Luv friday. Why because I've my class later at night. There are someone who keep saying that I put too much attention to my class. Wei.. This is my bowl of rice woh.. To have such a class is really a GIFT to me. One thing that that upset me is I was unable to conduct my class in Menglembu Hall like I used to for the past 14 years. Why. It was my mistake and now the Hall is being occupied by others. Well, I have moved my fridays training section to other hall. Altough the hall have ample space but the feeling is not the same. Some more and sometimes it does feel spooky in this hall. What can I say, CLASS GOESS ON!!

Back To Future

16Jan2008 -- This stories continue from the Rainbow post. My uncle was unable to get discharged yesterday, so he called me up to pick him at 11 am. When I reached the hospital, I pass by the Emergency Room. I got some flashed back. A memory of my grandma who admitted to GH. The way she being lifted & push to the emergency room is very much alive at that point. She stay @ hospital for 2 days, the very last 2 days. I MISS MY GRANDMA !!

Well, Ohh Badi.. Ohh Bada.. Life Goes..! Just a few feet away, I saw 2 ladies hugging and crying in front of the emergency room entrance. Something bad happened. Those tears just can't stop flowing. I reached 5th Floor, to my Uncle ward. As I expected, still pending the discharged letter signed by the MO. I waited from 11.00am + till 3.30 pm. Just wondering maybe it is just so hard to get a signature. Hmm.. you can put too much of expectation in GH. If you got the money, go to private hospital. While waiting there, I do admire the Ipoh City view from the hospital ward until I saw a flaw. Ipoh is surround by limestone which makes Ipoh have a good FengSui. In this picture show, the once admired limestone hills now looks like a DECAYING TOOTH due to the limestone quarry nearby. I wonder if it would be complete gone in let say 10 years time..?

After so much time wasted, I decided to head back home and come back in 6.00 pm+.. Then back at home, the phone rang again. "OK.. Comfirmed that the MO signed the discharged form" Over and Out. After all those tedious waiting, off we go. I go and 'belanja' my Uncle 6 at a local Kopitiam.

Can you see the ®@inbow? It was afternoon at about 6.00 pm. I'm on my way to General Hospital to pick my uncle who discharged today. Just some coincidence that I saw a FULL RAINBOW ( unbroken ). I guess the back it is still so bright so kind of hard to see it. I can't take a full view shot of it b'coz my Digicam is just a LauYa camera (hope to buy Nikon 40x soon) There was some myth that there were golds at the end of the rainbow. I guess it still works with fairy tales. Science ruins all the Fun.... I wonder if the little leprechaun is unemployed becoz of that.

No Appetite

12 Jan 2007 ( Fri ) -- I loose my appetite these few days. I just wonder why. I skip my breakfast, lunch and only have my dinner but I dun feel hungry at all. On Wednesday, me, Chee Sum, Yen and a few friends ( joining us later) of CS went to Yeolde English for dinner. I thought I can have better appetite dining but I was wrong. I was hungry at that moment so I ordered a Seafood Spaghetti. Then the food came, but it is like S**T. I wonder if sometin wrong with me, but honestly the food is tasteless. So i just put the spaghetti aside ( 90% still there ) as a silence protest. When CS friend who came later order their food, i ask the waiter to take my spaghetti back and complained to him. At least he came again later after a conversation with the chef and make an apologies and want to replace the dish for me. Haiz... I say i don't need leh, I loose my appetite liao.

Then today after my class, I supposed to be hungry as usually but not today. My students and I go to a Mamak stall for sometin to eat, then again I order a Fried Rice with a fried Egg. I forget to tell him not to add chilies ( No Spicy stuff in the Rice ). Haiz... One spoon also like eating burned charcoal. Wow... after some sorting out the chilies, I still cannot finished the meal. I used to be not like that. 80% left over.

Hopefully have a better meal tomorrow.

08 Jan 2007 -- I went training as usualy but today training have a little fight. 5 rounds. After a few round I sense some weird taste in my mouth.
"A taste so familiar but long gone" .

Hmm... Well It's blood after a punch to my mouth and tears a little chunk in my lips. It's been quite sometime since the last time I've this kind of taste. Don't worry, I'm not crazy or someting. It is just that the feeling of getting in a fight that have been long gone inside me. I stamped the blood in my uniforms well if does bring back some old memories of bleeding non-stop in the middle of a fight. It was a fight between a gold and silver. I've never met an equal match like this before. Both of us a just agile and flexible. I lose the bout but I'm HAPPY to have him in this fight. I can say it was cool. While I'm writing, the little pain is still there.

Welcome back " MY PAIN !! " I will accept you as part of me and enjoy the feeling you give to me..

07 Jan 2007 -- I can call it quit now. After all, a single hand won't make a sound. Well, I so TIRED now and I need some space for being myself again. I'm happy that my friends were there, ARIGATO to all my friends. Have a presentation to do tomorrow, hmm, I guess I need to sleep now. Oh ya... I forgot to say thank's to my buddy Baileys and ZenV.. you two did a great job today. I appreciate that. I'm starting to have the after effect now. I'll add some details later tomorow when I'm in a sane mode. HeHe..

A short trip to Sungkai Hot Spring

20th Dec 07 -- A day before Hari Haji, I'm just feeeling bored that day. I do have plan to go to Sungkai Hot Spring at night. So in the morning I bump into Shan and ask her if they are interested. So she inviteded Sze Kien to join in. Quite a rush trip b'coz it need about an hour ++ from Ipoh => Sungkai and Shan arrived home from work at 5.15 pm. The hot spring closed at 10 pm. Lucky that that day my father din't use his BUFFALO so I hop on it to sungkai.. HeHe.

6.05 pm -- On the way already. Me, Shan, Ying & Kien ..1st problem is the buffalo need to fill up. I just a bar before empty, so in a rush I decided to refill at Tapah rest site. Lucky that we made it to the refill or else the trip will be blundder. The funny thing that happened in car is we feel hungry so ask wethear Kien ( Future Grocery store owner ) bring some snack or junk food. All she bring is a few packets of pickles ( left over from Lenggong Camp ) and 30 eggs. What to do with all those 30 eggs and 4 peoples? High clorestrol for sure.

7.15 pm -- Arrived in the hot spring junction. It's already dark plus is like going to rain sooner or later. Going in to the spot is quite spooky wif all the palm tress etc etc around. When we reach there, there few people only. So Shan and Kien go down to but the ticket. I was joking and ask them to buy 4 children ticket for us but she really go and buy 2 adults and 2 children tickets .. Walau eh!! Only then then I know that Kien's family used to buy like 2 adult tickets and go in with 2 family.. WOOTs..

7.30 pm onward -- It's dark every where. More like a GHOST or Horror movie site in here. We went to the hot spring pool. Hmm.. Maybe it's because night time or going to rain, it wasn't as hot like the last time I dip in few months ago. Nothing much to be done there at night, many pool been closed ( I wanna go SPA and the Octupus pool ). So we went straight for the foot massage walk and 'Egg Boiling' pond. There goes all 30 eggs dip insinde the pond. It is still very spooky around.
The spooky feeling peaks up when I took a photo of us but Chooi ying lower lips turns black colour in the photo but she looks alright in real. Same thing happened in the second shots after that. I wonder why..?? A SIGN?? Pui Pui... Touch wood
9.30 pm -- Time to go and we have a final dip in a hot pool. Feel so good. Then go to the changing room. After some shcold chower, i went out. Those girl are still having fun in the ladies room. Talking very laud, can be hear few outside. Ying mention about the RED ANTS crawling here and there and she yelled out. ZZzz.... Girls sure spend alot of time doin shower, 20 minutes at least. I waited outsside and they didn't realised that I was there already and they head to the Gents Room looking for me. I just keep quite and watch. They stand there for 5 mins LOL... so I coughed out then only they realise I'm outside.

10.10 pm -- Few more photo of the buffalo and we head to makan. Driveing around the oil palmestate is nice. Wif all the stars and moon light shining down. Just feel good, no NEON lights around, just pure nature. We drop in Bidor for food but all stall were closed.. So we decided to go Ipoh ( Tuck Kee ) for food. We play Jacky Cheung songs all the way home.. Hmm interesting and nice songs. There is one particular song chooi ying always mention about

"你的名字我的姓氏"..

No idea. There we are at Tuck Kee, have some noodles and the went home.

1.00 am -- Kien break another records 4 coming home late.

Yeah, this what I call adulthood HaHaha....

Can Money buy HAPPINESS?
Many have been asking this type of question for a long time. So what do think? As for me, I did managed to buy happiness of some kind.

06Oct2007-- It is my little XueYi's Birthday. Well, she really have special position in my TKD life. It is because I always tease her for being the only female student in my class back in year 2003. All were boys and men in my class and there stood a little girl name XueYi. Aiyo... Aiyo.. XueYi sooner or later i scare you will become a TomBoy... It lasted for some years until in year 2005. Phew.. Finally she can mixed with some girls and sparr with them.

Ohh... it's her birthday. I bought her a cake @ RM 52.00. So here we GO. Celebrating birthday in Taekwon-Do Ways.. What is that? Well, is just some no rest and hard core free sparring before you are qualified enough to blow your birthday candles. HaHaHa... Quite scary for some.

Back to my subject. $$ Vs @ RM 52.00 can see all the children really enjoying their cakes. Well what sort of happiness that I bought? When you see them, they really enjoy the cakes, enjoy the mood and atmosphere, and the FREE-SPARRING.. This is HAPPINESS of some kind for me. Hard to explained. You know when you see or I guess Seeing is Believing...

21 Sept 2007 11.00 am -- I received a bad new from my student ( Shan & Ying ) that her brother just passed away this morning. Eventually Shan called me to say she and Ying will be absent for my TKD training tonight. When I queries about why, she said that her brother met an accident. Only when I ask about the condition( normaly I expect to be hospitalised, etc but not death), she can't hold back and began to broke in tears.Quite a tragic because he involved in a car accident. Altough I never came across of her brother before, but I can sense the feeling of saddness and despair they will endure in the time to come. As they lost their father since childhood, and the now they lost their own brother is quite an impact to them phycologically and financially. Now their family only left her mother and both of the sisters.

What I can only do I to wish them all the best and a safe journey for her brother to nirvana.
