5" Feets In The Air !!

08Mac08 ~ Today I so happy because I still perform A High Flying Side Kick ( 5" Feets High ) . Actually I didn't intended to do it because I also hav not tried before when I was young. Last time the max height was about my shoulder level but now this time is my lips level. Hmm.. some more that attempt was years back. My boys and girl were stay back to practice flying side kick. Then Weng wanna try fly (High Sidekick).

When I see them perform few time I'm like 'Beh Tahan' and have some the urged to FLY too... Wahaha.... Ok.. just some simple stretching bout 10 times & OFF I go... Woot, shoulder level, just a easy clearance. I said, hmm.. Let's try higher today,. I stacked 5 boxes ( each about 1 feet high ) and here I FLY again... Voila!! Clearance .. Yes !! Yes !! Yes !!



It always feels good when you still can performs all those difficult techniques in front of your students. Well, I just don't like to talk, ACTION speaks it LAUD... I always teased my young student why can't they DO it? If OLD man FLIES, YOUNG man FLIES too... rite? LOL

After the class ended, I went out for dinner at Moven Peak. I pick Mun up, and meet up with Meow Meow, Chee Sum & Yen there. Wow.. There is General Election Live Telecast there too. All the suddenr we all felt sp patriotic and want to know the Malaysia more. Then I give Meow to see my TKD clip and what she said was " Wei, you think you still YOUNG ahh??" Aouch.....

My Friday Class

I always Luv friday. Why because I've my class later at night. There are someone who keep saying that I put too much attention to my class. Wei.. This is my bowl of rice woh.. To have such a class is really a GIFT to me. One thing that that upset me is I was unable to conduct my class in Menglembu Hall like I used to for the past 14 years. Why. It was my mistake and now the Hall is being occupied by others. Well, I have moved my fridays training section to other hall. Altough the hall have ample space but the feeling is not the same. Some more and sometimes it does feel spooky in this hall. What can I say, CLASS GOESS ON!!

08 Jan 2007 -- I went training as usualy but today training have a little fight. 5 rounds. After a few round I sense some weird taste in my mouth.
"A taste so familiar but long gone" .

Hmm... Well It's blood after a punch to my mouth and tears a little chunk in my lips. It's been quite sometime since the last time I've this kind of taste. Don't worry, I'm not crazy or someting. It is just that the feeling of getting in a fight that have been long gone inside me. I stamped the blood in my uniforms well if does bring back some old memories of bleeding non-stop in the middle of a fight. It was a fight between a gold and silver. I've never met an equal match like this before. Both of us a just agile and flexible. I lose the bout but I'm HAPPY to have him in this fight. I can say it was cool. While I'm writing, the little pain is still there.

Welcome back " MY PAIN !! " I will accept you as part of me and enjoy the feeling you give to me..

Many have been asking this type of question for a long time. So what do think? As for me, I did managed to buy happiness of some kind.

06Oct2007-- It is my little XueYi's Birthday. Well, she really have special position in my TKD life. It is because I always tease her for being the only female student in my class back in year 2003. All were boys and men in my class and there stood a little girl name XueYi. Aiyo... Aiyo.. XueYi sooner or later i scare you will become a TomBoy... It lasted for some years until in year 2005. Phew.. Finally she can mixed with some girls and sparr with them.

Ohh... it's her birthday. I bought her a cake @ RM 52.00. So here we GO. Celebrating birthday in Taekwon-Do Ways.. What is that? Well, is just some no rest and hard core free sparring before you are qualified enough to blow your birthday candles. HaHaHa... Quite scary for some.

Back to my subject. $$ Vs @ RM 52.00 can see all the children really enjoying their cakes. Well what sort of happiness that I bought? When you see them, they really enjoy the cakes, enjoy the mood and atmosphere, and the FREE-SPARRING.. This is HAPPINESS of some kind for me. Hard to explained. You know when you see or I guess Seeing is Believing...

I have a great day at Cameron Highland. It's kinna relief after it is all over. So much preparation and stuff. My brother do help me alot. Here I just wanna pen down some events happening on that day.

1st Event
30June07 06.40 am : Guess what? our bus tyre got punctrued. My initial plan is to have our breakfast @ 5000 feet above sea level but seem that we have to switch plan. So we are stuck at Gunung Rapat area. While waiting for the foreman to repair the tyre, all we can do is to take breakfast at Gunung Rapat.


1st Stop
Yup.. We arrived at Tea Valley ( if not mistaken ). We just stop by here for while for some Pee Pee & Pooh Pooh. Hehe.. But the view here is nice minus the air pollution. The air smell fresh here. So wif me in photo were the SMK Menglembu teachers who come along wif us. Altough I say just a short break, my student all got exited and spended some 30 mins here taking photos & have some Fruit Steamboat. So, I also have myself a nice cup of HOT CHOCOLATE.. yum yum!!

ButterFly Farm
Yup.. A scropion on my palm. Really feels abit GELI at 1st but will get used to it. It good that even some of my female student & children dare to hold the scropion. Quiet a nice place b'coz the keeper lets us to hold and interact wif the insects and other creature. Just abit pity that I request for a TARANTULA, but the keeper didn't give permission. I have phobia on spider, haiz... NeverMind !!

GAME TIME
It's Noon so we check in to our hotel. Still have plenty of time to spare so I decided to take my boyz & gals to the meet the Bare Foot Monk who is just near by our Hotel area. Some just ask for blessing from the monk other for good health. It's bout 3.00 pm++ .. some 4 hours to go till dinner time. So it should be game time. We have great fun these
whereby the loser need to eat a wasabi ( + chili padi ) stuffed in tuna sandwish. Me and my bro took a great effort in preparing this custom made sandwish. It took us whole night so eventually both of us didn't sleep at all at eve of the trip. Some eat the sandwish and cannot stand the spicy and vomitted. And then we have our 2nd game siscor, paper & rock. In one round, Steven make a good performance when 1 vs 5 persons and won that round. WoW !!! Of 3 teams, ChiGu team, JuChe Team and Hwarang Team, ChiGu team won the game.

S t e a m B oat Time

Dinner time is here. We had our SteamBoat dinner at one of the restaurant @RM15.00/per person. One of my female student who complained bout gastric earlier, vomitted. I have given her some gastric pills but seems not much affect. So after the meal, I go to search for clinic which have better medicine. There goes RM 20.00 for the medicine. Then I go to buy a nice Secret Recepies cake b'coz Sook Yan B'day will be on 01/07/07. Another RM 65.00 spended. As they went to the Pasar Malam, I notice that some of my student mistaken a bunch of Sea Cocunut as Mangosteen. Hahah.... How can mangoesteen were as big as coconut but from one glance it really looks like mangoesteen....

‘’The Ghost Story Time‘’
Kind fun to tell ghost stories. All of it were trues ghost stories that me and my brother have been experience during our time in taekwon-do activities. Some of them were just so scared so I ask my little girl Xueyi sit beside me. Our stories telling section ended at 12.00 am so celebrate my student birthday. Just a cake and Birthday songs, no present and gift or birthday kiss.

~2nd Day [Jungle Trekking]~
So we wake up and went to conquer MOSSY FOREST. It was cold, and we went to the tower whereby the wind blew chilling COLD. So I order all my BlackBelt to strip their cloths and get a photo shot... So CRUEL... After the photo shot, I found out that one of my BlackBelt (WeiNam) elude us and didn;t take the shot. How dare him. So after the tower site seeing we journey deep into the forest. Such a nice place. The ground or soil we stepped into is not really soils. It is compost of the dead leaves and other stuff. Some were few meteres thick. Just imagine, how long it took to have this thick. We we walk in, is like abit of bouncing around and you can feel under your feet. Due to time constrain, we only walk the forest 1/2 way and retreat back. To complete whole journey, it will took us about 8 hours or so. Maybe next time. Then we headed to BOH TEA PLANTATION and Factory. They have set up new area for people to have tea break. It is such a nice view.

End Of Our Wonderful Journey
After we went to the market, buy some vegetebles, strawberry, Cactus etc etc. So we headed back to Ipoh. As for our FINALE event we have our last game that is THE KILLER. Now no more WASABI sandwish left so the LOSER will have to have real time punishent. Yoke Foong is ain't so luck. She got herself TATOO all over her hand. Can you see the WATCH i draw on her? Nice .. YEAH !!!

13 June 2007 -- The school reopen. The school examination result ia out for my boys and girls. I'm a bit sadden because some of my students is not doing quite well in this half year examination. Although they were good in Taekwon-Do but it seems that they really can't do it as good in their studies. 文武 should co-exist and lead by 文 and then 武

Haiz.... Some even got DOGs ( F9s ) I just wonder if there anytin to be done to reversed the effect. Are they just to obbsessed wif Taekwon-Do or just they aren't that bright in their studies. Some of my boys failed many subjects, Zzzz.. Zzz... Haiz.. I'm mad. Maybe my boys really do not take school exam seriously. One of my girl failed few subjects, I'm really sad when she told me today. I know they can do BETTER is they really put some effort in it.

15th May 2007 -- I just finished my training today. Today we practice some "Pattern" and some flying Kick.. For me Flying Side Kick is just a normal technique to me, but today I felt abit disappointed when I find myself just manage to fly across 5 chairs. I used to clear all 6 chairs without sweat, hmm.. maybe due to not enough warm up or am I really getting down hill. I guess it's time for me to get back in shape for good. So my goal now is to clear 6 chairs at easily.

19th Nov 06 ( Sun ) Finally the moment arrived. I just have 2 weeks to prepare my little boys.. There really not well prepared. Well, I'm happy for their result. They grab a total of 19 medals. My Menglembu Centre TOP the medal score chart for MOST MEDAL category.

My Junior Team did quite well. Altough they just preform " Saju-Jirugi" but they managed to win Bronze beating others 14 teams. Many judges do praised their team work. The Boy Boy also did well in Free-Sparring. WOW.. is my word when I saw him fighting in the arena. I never expect a little white belt boy to deliver 'Front Hook' kick and " Reversed Kick"... My litthe Mona Lisa did quite well too.My Power Puff Girls and Power Ranger also did quite well. Altough they perform a jonior pattern " Dang-Un". Only my Kampar Girls team have abit upset b'coz one of the team member cannot wake up and miss the C'ship. Whole team collapsed and the substitute only trained for 1 hour. Haiz.. But it's oki.. Since tis is their 1st C'ship. LOSING is part of WINNING.

My boys almost grabbed the OVERALL CHAMPION if had Jia Shan won again Khang Huai. Altough both also my students I dun expect both of them to handicapped each other just for the Throphy. All I wan is a nice fight which they did it a nice way. What FUNNY things is botf of their younger BROTHER watch both of their Elder BROTHER fighting.. Kinna weird both brother supporting each other brother .. LOL. But Khang Yong won the match.

After the Championship, my student and I went to KFC for dinner. WOW.. I was starving. I have eat since 7.00 am till 8.00 pm. Didn't know how hungry I am untill the 1st bite of the chicken.. HeHe.. What a NICE HAPPY DAY !!

4th Degree Grading

This is my day.. 20th August 2006 9.00 am. ME, Wong Lai Shie, Ng Kok Wei, Choy Wai Leng & Khoo Bu Leong is the 1st batch to have grading under a panel of GTF examiner ( Master Ng, Mr Lee Hok Heng, Mr Billy Soon, Mr Dang Kok Wai, Mdm Lim, Mr Andy and Mr Yong Kim Choong ) The grading we sheduled to be held in our NEW GYM in Ipoh Graden but we were not able to move in time so we have to grade in old GYM.

I'm the 1st to perform. Starting wif Pattern Sam-Il, Yul- Shin, Choy-Yoong and Dang-Un ( 4 patterns non stop ). Really exausting. Togather wif Shie, we do perform like couple pattern LOL... Both of us didn't make any major error in our pattern. When Choy's and Ng turn, they need to perform Yul-Shin facing 45° degree. Choy were just 4 step to finished but make mistake and have to perform 3 times.. Then Me and Shie were asked to perform Pheong-Hwa, Chi-Gu and Chee-Sang 45° directional. Then lastly we have to perform Yook-Am.. Wow...
I smash 3 planks with knife hand, 3 planks ( back kick ), 1 plank suspension ( reversed Kick ), and 2 planks ( Twin Front Flying Kick ) special techique. I was sad becaused i cannot break the hand suspention technique. Haiz...

Overall I get a good remarks from the panel, quite happy wif that but abit not statisfied for not able to break all planks. After the test then all go YUM CHA .. Heheh

# Remarks : I came to know that Master Ng gave me a total of 9/10 point. It was such a honour to have such a point. I was stunned when Master Dang told me about the score and the result few days later.

Perak C'ship 2006 Cancelled

Haiz... The Perak Championship is being cancelled. Nothing can be done as no Hall available at the time being and time constrain. We cannot organised later that August as all the exam rushing in.

Hmm.... Maybe I'll think over other event's or activities. Perhap Gua Tempurung trip or Cameroon Trip. There goes my teams.

Now I've form my ' Kecil Meow' team, one boys team Under - 10 ( Powe® ®ange® ) & one girls team Under -12 ( Powe® Puff Gi®l ) Ha.. Ha.. they are so cute..

All the while, I've been concerntrating my boy's above 12 team until now I've been miss out my children team.. My fault !! now I've to start to refresh back and think again how to inprove them. My boys and girls do have rooms spare for improvement but only bacause I didn't take care of them well enough.

Now my MISSION is set !! Make a CHAMPION children team !!

I'm abit HAPPY now (Pangkor Trip)

Guess what?It was 06th June 2006 what we call 06/06/ 06 After weeks for saddness, I finally can relax and enjoy myself. Really have so much fun with my students especialy, Chalie's Angel and Richard's Devil.. He He ..I do hope the SUN never set that day.. The beach were beautiful, the weather were just nice, the sun were good.. The Banana Boat were Great..

After the arrival, we do get some sleeps.. the we out to the beach at 5.00++ pm.. Hmm... at RM 10 per person, the BANANA boat ride sure awesome !!! We all got throw out TWICE.. I rode in the front and at the Back.. At night we dine at a MALAY side walk restaurant ( MAMAK STALL ).. The food were SPICY After the dining, we have a nice WALk at the beach at NIGHT....... we all YELLED OUT laud to the sea 3 times.. We yelled ( Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ) ( Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ) and ( ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ) I FELT nice.. Kinna big burden out from my chest. The MURDER game really fun when I intro it to my students.. I got the Killer and Chen Loong have to put on a WHITE CLOTH and run to the swimming pool.. It was 11.00++ pm .. We all laugh HAHAHHAHAHH Then I was being arrested for murder, and have to yelled out in the swimming pool. Finally, Kean Yee turns, he have to perform CHA CHA in the swiming pool wakakakak...

My GREATEST Day
I've won 2 Gold and 1 Silver in The 6th World Taekwon-Do Championship in Italy. That's the peak point in my Taekwon-Do life.... I felt great and respected for my achievement. Wish to say alot of gratitude to my Master Dang, Mr Yong and those who tought me well. Without them I'm nobody.

My Achievement
After 5 years I've finally able to beat the World Champion and I glad I make it. Grabbing 4 GOLDs in all my event is a maybe Once In A Life Time experience.
